Melanie’s Ride for Hope has been a fun day of bicycle riding and activities for all ages and abilities. All proceeds benefited Cone Health Cancer Center – specifically for patients battling gynecological cancers.

Highlights included:
•  Fully supported road rides for cycling enthusiasts.
•  Maps & cue sheets, marked course, rest stops and SAG wagon.
•  Great lunch and refreshing drinks after the ride.
•  Door prizes!
•  Mountain bike riding on the trials..
•  Fun for the kids like:
      - Ride-the-loop family fun 
      - Toddlers' Parade w/Big Wheels
         or Training Wheels.
• Great fun with old and new friends



Melanie Payne was a  Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Cone Health Women's Hospital who gave care, comfort and medical support to many patients.   This ride is honoring Melanie's memory and good deeds in life, and is an effort to alert other women about the need for medical vigilance against this terrible disease.
